Previously engaged on a regional fire services contract to set up detailed fire seal registers and a consistent delivery process. After stepping away, others were brought in but weren’t able to maintain the same level of detail or consistency. The client later requested re-engagement to bring things back to standard.
Specialist Fire Safety Services Contract
Asked to review a warehouse after maintenance costs escalated, with the client considering changing service providers. Review identified that switching providers would mean starting from scratch—re-identifying and rectifying all existing defects, with significant cost implications. That clarity allowed the client to make the call early and avoid unnecessary spend of over $500,000.
Sydney Warehouse Wants To Change Fire Service Provider
Identified while reviewing works relating to plasterboard wall systems used as bounding walls in multi-residential buildings. It became clear the wall system did not permit service penetrations under its tested configuration, despite the fire-stopping manufacturer having tested systems available for installation. Further review identified the conflict between systems and enabled the issue to be escalated appropriately, including engagement with the manufacturer to address the inconsistency.
